After working at various restaurants and country clubs in Indianapolis IN, Rene Trevino wanted to provide stellar European-style breads and pastries at a price and in a way that everyone could enjoy. With a deep breath, Rene Trevino opened Rene's Bakery, Inc on March 12, 2004. With a small staff (of ONE!), the bakery started with a handful of products to sell. Over time, Rene has added staff and product. Now, in its seventeenth year, Rene's Bakery has become one of the finest bakeries in the midwest.

Small and cute bakery. I tried the butter croissant decent, though I prefer Amelia's. The wheat rolls were great, especially with butter. Quick, friendly service. Worth checking out!
