New Augusta Public Academy North, located in Indianapolis, offers a curriculum for students in grades six through eight. It serves to an enrollment of more than 800 students and is affiliated with the Metropolitan School District of Pike. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, science, history, geography, mathematics, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, arts and health and physical education. It is an elementary institution that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The academy s staff includes administrators, classroom teachers, speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, special education teachers and assistants and media specialists. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, English, reading, writing, spelling and social studies. The New Augusta Public Academy-South also provides extracurricular sessions in art and music and offers computer and health and physical education programs. Its facilities include a cafeteria, library and computer laboratory. The New Augusta Public Academy-South is based in Indianapolis.
