We first had these in Houston, TX, and they reminded me of kouign-amann. I personally find the toppings too sweet as there is already sugar on the pastry itself. Glad there is a plain jane...

It's a cute and cozy place. I went around 1:30 and there's not a lot of doughnuts left. Though I tried the bourbon caramel, it was yummy!
