Parkview Intermediate School

Rogers Elementary School serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade two. The school is a part of Monroe County Community School Corporation, which serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school corporation includes Highland Park Elementary School, Lakeview Elementary School, Jackson Creek Middle School and Summit Elementary School. Rogers Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that works closely with the teachers, administrators and staff members to support school programs, assist students, and promote the involvement of parents in the school. The organization also publishes a newsletter. The school s library stocks books, magazines and other reference materials. Rogers Elementary School is located in Bloomington, Ind.

South Knox Elementary School serves a diverse population of students in grades kindergarten through six. The school is located in Vincennes, Ind. It is affiliated with the South Knox School Corporation and has more than 550 students enrolled under the school. The school offers a variety of subjects offered include English, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, music, arts, crafts, special education, computer technology, and health and physical education. In addition, South Knox Elementary School has an active parent-teacher organization that provides funding for a wide variety of activities for the school that include book parties and cultural arts programs, along with providing learning and teaching materials for the classroom, students, and teachers and rewards for student achievement.

The faculty and staff of Mitchell Junior High, in partnership with the community and home, provides a safe and secure environment that promotes emotional, intellectual, physical, and sociological development. We strive to prepare our students for success in high school and beyond, by exposing them to varied content areas, skills, and career education needed for a smooth transition from one step of education to another. This gives every student the opportunity to become a contributing, responsible citizen of society and instills in them a desire for lifelong learning. We accept the responsibility of shaping our students into self-disciplined, responsible young adults who are capable of meeting the challenges of an increasingly complex global society.
