Opportunity Enterprises

Opportunity Enterprises, established in 1967 and located in Valparaiso, Ind., is a nonprofit, health care and social services organization that offers a variety of medical and support services throughout the state. Its services include counseling, drug and alcohol prevention, child and adult education, and personal care assistance. It organizes a variety of programs, such as social work, adult education, career, family health care and literacy programs. The center manages departments that include consultation centers for schools and families, and child care and family health centers. It also organizes various programs for children coping with child abuse, foster placement, substance abuse and psychiatric problems. It additionally organizes camps and school programs, such as group discussions, drug and alcohol prevention seminars, and child and money management. The center offers 24-hour health care services.
