These Directors take a personal interest in mental health and related issues and are accountable for Center activities, goals, and values; form policy; and provide counsel to and assesses the performance of the CEO.Northeastern Center is accredited by CARF, The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CARF is a private not-for-profit organization that establishes standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering services to consumers.The active volunteers provide thousands of hours of beneficial services to the Northeastern Center and its consumers each year. A wide variety of opportunities are available to individuals or groups wanting to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Client transportation, clerical support, public relations, staff substitution, plays and projects await the individual that volunteers.The Northeastern Center assists qualified customers (based on income and family size) with applying for financial support through The Hoosier Assurance Plan (HAP).

Located in Van Wert, Ohio, Westwood Behavioral Health Center Inc. offers counseling, mental heath care and community services. Its range of services includes adult education; assessment and diagnostic intake; individual, group, marriage and family therapy; along with child and adolescent therapy, among others. Additionally, the center offers social and recreational services, pharmacological management, residential support program and domestic violence program, to name a few. Westwood Behavioral Health Center Inc. is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The Bowen Center is a private, nonprofit community mental health center. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Founded in 1961, it offers mental health services for the citizens of Huntington, Kosciusko, Marshall, Wabash and Whitley counties in Indiana. The Bowen Center works with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and secretaries. The center provides a variety of programs related to parenting skills development, anger management and abuse recovery. It also offers a range of early intervention, community support, residential and outpatient services. The Bowen Center maintains a location in Albion, Ind.
