The Muncie Home Center program, initiated in 1995 by the Muncie Urban Enterprise Association, focuses on revitalizing neighborhoods through new construction and historic preservation, aiming to provide housing solutions for low to median-income families in Muncie, Indiana. By acquiring abandoned or unsafe properties in the Industrial neighborhood, the program constructs beautiful single-family homes designed by architecture students from Ball State University and built by local students from the Muncie Area Career Center's Building Trades Class.

Funded by local and federal programs, including the City of Muncie's Community Development program and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Muncie Home Center also partners with the Muncie Housing Authority to offer homeownership opportunities to families in public housing. Additionally, the program provides free financial literacy, homeownership counseling, and home maintenance classes to assist eligible individuals and families in achieving their homeownership goals.
