Mental Health Association-Lake County

Mental Health America of Lake County supports individuals and families to improve their quality of life. It focuses on promoting good mental health and conducts various programs for men, women and children on building self-esteem and resiliency and offering new opportunities to communicate with others. The organization s Girls program educates young and teenage girls about using responsible behavior and good decision-making tools. Its Parents as Teachers program provides information to parents about child development. Mental Health America of Lake County is affiliated with the Mental Health America of Indiana and the National Mental Health America. It is located in Highland, Ind.
