Men's Residential Services - Wheeler Mission Ministries

Founded in 1893, Wheeler Mission Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian social services organization that provides a variety of services to homeless and poor people of central Indiana. It is one of the oldest continuously operating ministries in Indiana with more than 100 employees. The organization conducts general education development and computer programs. It operates a care center that offers emergency and long-term housing, Bible study and case management services. It also conducts group therapy sessions, addiction classes and medical clinics. The agency has membership in various organizations, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Christian Leadership Alliance, Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. Wheeler Mission Ministries is located in Indianapolis.

Established in 1953, Kokomo Rescue Mission preaches to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ through its ministries. The organization supports several holiday outreach programs and provides shelter, food and clothing for men, women and children. It offers vocational training classes in construction skills. The organization s 99 and ONE Club is a caring group of mission friends that works to provide food and shelter to the homeless and poor individuals. Its women s shelter ministry provides refuge and restoration for homeless women and children. Kokomo Rescue Mission offers intermediate level and Graciously Restoring Our Women In Need of God (GROWING) programs for women. It operates a computerized learning center that conducts classes in topics related to spiritual growth and basic life and learning skills.
