Mary Kristine Beckwith, MD

Rhiannon Amodeo, MD, served as resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine prior to joining Community. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and undergraduate degree from Butler University. Dr. Amodeo is a member of American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Medical Women’s Association. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, women’s sexual health, LGBTQAI+ patient care, and gender-affirming hormone therapy and surgery. Dr. Amodeo is from Crown Point, Indiana. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and pets. In her free time, Dr. Amodeo likes to garden and knit.

Jessica Martin, MD, earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from University of Indianapolis and her master’s degree in biology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. She completed her medical doctorate and OB/GYN residency at Indiana University. Dr. Martin has special interests in high-risk obstetrics including: cholestasis and liver diseases of pregnancy, postpartum depression, minimally-invasive gynecological surgery, aging women care, and clinical research. Outside of work, Dr. Martin loves to spend time with her husband and two sweet girls, run, craft and cook.

Sarah Poehlein, FNP-C, earned her master’s in nursing and health systems leadership from University of Indianapolis, along with a post-master’s FNP certificate. She has worked more than 20 years in women’s health, including in labor and delivery and postpartum care, as a women’s health educator, and as a nurse practitioner. She enjoys caring for patients in all stages of life, including adolescent and teen care, as well as perimenopause and menopause care. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) through the Menopause Society. She focuses on prevention, screening and management of gynecological concerns, as well as contraception (Nexplanon/IUD), endometrial biopsy, hormone therapy and vaginal health. She is a lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers as well as the Boston Celtics. She enjoys spending time with family, is an amateur foodie, and has three children, two of which have played college volleyball.
