I love the Backer. Even now that I'm old (not in college), it's great to come back when I'm back at Notre Dame. The drinks are cheap and the drinks are strong. The music is almost always great...

I love the Backer! My friends and mine favorite bar in college, and it is always one of first stops back in town! Good drinks, love the popcorn, and exceptional vibes!

Best bar in the area, truly! The Backer is charming and a classic. Whether on a football weekend or a Tuesday night, this is the best spot for a big beer and some fun.
