St. Vincent Medical Group is pleased to continue their professional relationships with Dr. Joan Chang. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.Dr. Chang specializes in providing care to patients 65 years and older, with the goal of allowing older adults to age in place. She is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise to the practice.Only taking new patient for Geriatric Evaluations

Dr. Greist is originally from Baltimore, MD and attended the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland. She acted as Chief Resident in Primary Care at the University of Maryland and Baltimore VA, before moving to Los Angeles, CA in 2002. She joined the Cedars Sinai Medical Group in Beverly Hills, CA where she practiced general Internal Medicine until 2012. In 2012, she married her husband, Tim, and moved to Indianapolis to be closer to family. She joined the St. Vincent Internal Medicine Faculty in 2014. Her academic interests include preventive care and quality improvement. She enjoys camping, hiking, travel and most of all, spending time outdoors with her two dogs.
