Lake County Divers Supply

History

Lake County Divers Supply was started by 2 local, currently retired, police officers with a lengthy history of service to their community. LCDS was created as a response to a growing need for public safety/recovery divers due to drownings or other water related accidents. Over the course of nearly 30 years, LCDS has been an anchor for the marine community of Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago area. Our focus is for every diver to return home safely, and to provide the equipment or the training which will allow them to do so. Specialties

We are an internationally recognized SCUBA Diving Instruction and Training school/facility. LCDS provides entry, intermediate, advanced, professional, public safety, law enforcement, and Instructor level SCUBA dive classes for the general public and municipalities. We are certified to teach through SCUBA Diving International (SDI) & Emergency Response Diving International (ERDi) & PADI Course material. Equipment servicing, consulting, repair, and replacement options are available, and we encourage all divers to keep regular checks on the gear.
