HistoryThe roots of The Heart Group date back to the late 1960's and early 1970's when several cardiologists started practicing in the Tri-State region independently. In 1989, Tri-State Cardiology Consultants and Evansville Cardiology Associates merged their practices to form The Heart Group, PC. We are the largest cardiovascular practice in the Tri-State region, currently employing 14 cardiologists, 3 electrophysiologists, 1 vascular surgeon, 3 cardiovascular surgeons, 3 nurse practitioners and 4 physician assistants.
