Newsong Vineyard Church

NewSong Vineyard is part of the Association of Vineyard Churches headquartered in Stafford, Texas. Vineyard began back in the early eighties in California and spread to Cincinnati in about 1985. NewSong Vineyard is a grandchild of the first Vineyard in Cincinnati, Vineyard Community Church in Springdale. Our parent church is New Life Vineyard in Hamilton. On August 6, 2005 the first meeting of NewSong Vineyard took place on Harrison Avenue. We began meeting twice each month on Saturday night. After a few months we grew to weekly meetings and began to look for another space. In February of 2006 we moved to Harrison High School and, on Palm Sunday of that year, we began Sunday morning meetings. After one year at the High School we moved to Aspen Grove Banquet Center on Dry Fork Road in Harrison. Then, three years later, we moved to our current and more permanent location in downtown Harrison. We have experienced steady growth as people in our community come to know the love and freedom that Jesus Christ brings to our lives. The worship of God is of primary importance in our Sunday celebrations. We believe that the presence of God can be experienced in the worship services of the church. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and that by His death on the cross He paid the penalty for the sins of mankind. We hold the Holy Bible as our final authority in matters of faith and practice. We also believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as seen in the book of Acts are available to followers of Jesus today.
