The James Dean Museum, formerly known as The Fairmount Historical Museum, is located in Fairmount, Indiana, where James Dean spent much of his life. The museum showcases the world's largest collection of James Dean's personal belongings, including motorcycles, clothing, movie props, and more.

Since 1975, the museum has been hosting the annual James Dean Festival, featuring a car show, parade, carnival, vendors, and the renowned James Dean look-alike contest. Visitors can also explore exhibits honoring another famous resident, Jim Davis, creator of Garfield the Cat.
