Ivy Tech Community College

Located in Indianapolis, Walker Career Center offers various academic programs in business, industrial technology and family and consumer science. The center provides various career programs, such as video production, welding and fabrication, radio broadcasting, dental assisting, and computer-aided drafting and design. Walker Career Center also has various students organizations, including the Business Professionals of America, Skill USA, ProStart, Robotics and the Health Occupation Students of America. Founded in 1976, the center offers classes in various courses, such as dental assisting, vocational and driver education to adult students. Additionally, Walker Career Center conducts classes in foreign languages, such as Spanish for its adult students. The center is owned and operated by the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township in Indiana.

The McKenzie Career Center, located in Indianapolis, is a part of the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. The center offers a variety of academic programs and technological career courses. It curriculum includes algebra, auto service technology, collision repair, business, cosmetology and welding. The McKenzie Career Center prepares its students for post-secondary education at two- and four-year colleges, military service, workplace entry or advanced technical training in a variety of business, medical and industrial fields. The center provides special education programs for students with language building and behavior disorders. It offers membership for the National Technical Honor Society and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).
