Indiana State Police offers a range of law enforcement and consulting services. The department has been serving the residents and visitors of Indiana for more than 75 years. It offers a variety of crime prevention and inspection programs. The department operates through human resources, fiscal, communications, operations and commercial vehicle enforcement divisions. Indiana State Police conducts criminal investigations and field operations. It is also responsible for the disposal of explosive devices and outdated chemicals. In addition, the department offers emergency management services and conducts rescue operations.
