Irvington Community Elementary School

Irvington Community School is a public, charter educational institution that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 11. It provides classes in math, science, social studies and language arts. The school follows the guidelines of the Northwest Evaluation Association's Measures of Academic Progress test, which include a battery of computerized standardized tests that focus on the assessment of students reading, mathematics and language usage abilities. It maintains a parent-teacher-student association, as well as organization, chess, dance, drama, newspaper readers, theater, card, walking, optical illusions, board games clubs. Irvington Community School offers volunteer opportunities for parents and students in various school events and activities. It is a recipient of the National Charter Schools Week Proclamation by the president of the United States.
