Frankfort Fire Protection District

Established in 1924, the Clarendon Hills Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that is responsible for fire suppression and prevention, emergency medical services and public education. It operates a communication center that coordinates responses to emergency and nonemergency fire and medical calls for service. The department provides various fire safety tips and has a fleet of trucks, engines, ambulances, heavy rescue vans and fire inspector cars. The Clarendon Hills Fire Department supports an interactive Internet-based community emergency mass notification system. It notifies residents and businesses regarding hazardous materials incidents, evacuation orders, large fires, burglaries, missing persons, boil orders and various other public safety emergency situations. The department is located in Clarendon Hills, Ill.
