Harry's Chocolate Shop, established in 1919, began as an ice cream parlor and soda fountain founded by Harry Marack Sr. and HG Reisner in West Lafayette, Indiana. Over the years, it evolved into a beloved local tavern, known for its unique offerings, including the first beer permit in the area following the end of Prohibition.

After several ownership changes, Harry's Chocolate Shop has remained a staple in the community, celebrating its centennial in 2018. The establishment continues to honor its rich history while serving generations of patrons, many of whom are alumni of Purdue University.
