Our team's primary goal is to care for the entire central nervous system, including treatment for the brain, neck, spine and peripheral nerves.Only about 10 percent of our patients actually require surgery. When surgery is indicated, state-of-the-art technology - including the sophisticated and minimally invasive use of an endoscopic and surgical laser - is used for the best possible corrective results.Following surgery, the compassionate caregivers of Beacon Medical Group North Central Neurosurgery provide extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation to assist patients through the recovery process. From filling out paperwork to rehabilitation and recovery, our team is at your side with assistance, expertise and encouragement.

The FWO Musculoskeletal Institute houses a surgical center designed specifically for orthopedic procedures. Advances in arthroscopy and microvascular techniques, new materials and implants available to surgeons, and new equipment mean surgeons can perform many procedures as outpatient or 'ambulatory' surgeries. Fully equipped for arthroscopy, each operating room also provides laminar air flow to provide the best possible surgical environment. Another aspect of its operating rooms is its access to natural lighting. FWO has five rooms for 23-hour recovery with furnishings, television and a VCR. Parents and family members can watch the arthroscopic procedure live via a TV monitor in a private waiting room. They can also converse with the doctors during the operation.
