Dr. Desmon Brown grew up in Kingston, Jamaica where he received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Zoology and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington DC. Additionally, Dr. Brown was inducted into the National Dental School Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Brown completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University Of Florida College Of Medicine in Jacksonville Florida. He is presently a Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director at the Indiana University oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.

Dr. Emma M. Meyer completed her residency at Indiana University, where she served as Chief Resident from 2021-2022. Dr. Meyer holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry and a master’s in biology from IUPUI. She is board-certified and has completed externships at institutions including the University of Washington and University of Mississippi. Dr. Meyer is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and has presented on topics like pediatric TMJ ankylosis and osteoradionecrosis. She is passionate about service, having volunteered during the COVID-19 pandemic and led dental outreach for veterans.
