History

Family tax company was started by three individuals with a passion for the tax industry and education of consumers. Combined, the owners have over 50 years of experience in the tax industry. The owners formerly worked for major tax companies like H&R Block and Liberty tax service. They made the decision in 2016 to break away from the big box stores and simplify things. They want to bring things back to basics. They want to offer the same great service at a much lower price. There is a need for a locally owned and operated tax preparation and consultation service that is fair, honest, and willing to go the extra mile for their clients. There is a need for Family Tax.

Specialties

Our business specializes in tax preparation and consultation. It is important to us that our consumers are educated in the tax field and we consider it a high-priority to provide that education. We also specialize in tax issues. We have an extensive relationship with local and federal government agencies that allows us to consult with them on outstanding issues or problems relating to taxes or other government services. Generally all of our services are included in the cost of tax preparation which start as low as $60 for individuals.
