History

Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo, Indiana, was founded in 1924 by Howard W. Ellers. When Ellers died in 1952, his sons took over the family-owned funeral home, which was managed by Howard Eller's daughter-in-law, Mimi. After her passing in 1984, longtime employee, Philip D. Weaver, and Richard Myers, along with the support staff, enabled Ellers Mortuary to continue its history of funeral service.
