Electrical JATC
The NECA IBEW Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) has been serving Southwestern Indiana and Wabash County, Illinois since 1944, providing highly trained and skilled individuals for the electrical construction industry. As the first registered electrical apprenticeship program in Indiana, the NECA IBEW JATC is committed to educating members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the National Electrical Contractors Association, ensuring a workforce that meets the demands of the industry.
Co-sponsored by the National Electrical Contractors Association, Southern Indiana Chapter, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 16, the NECA IBEW JATC offers a rigorous 5-year apprenticeship program that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to become Journeyman Wiremen. Through their training program, they strive to keep pace with the changing technologies of the electrical industry, raising the skill level of those performing electrical work in Southern Indiana.
