The Dunes Arts Foundation, Inc., which operates the Dunes Summer Theatre and Education Programs, was incorporated in the State of Indiana on January 17th, 1952. Located in Michiana Shores, the theatre is nestled on a scenic 19 acre wooded site, about a half mile from the Indiana Dunes and the Lake Michigan shore. The theatre campus hosts 8 cabins for summer actors and interns, and one clay cabin for summer classes. Under new, professional management since the Fall of 2016, the Dunes Summer Theatre has been revitalized with much needed structural and grounds improvements in an effort to bring patrons a quality and comfortable experience. DAF brings professional, highly qualified actors and directors to the stage.
