Dr. Muhammad Tahir, MD, is a board-certified Gastroenterologist dedicated to providing expert care to teenagers, adults, and geriatric patients in Madison County. He earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore Allama Iqbal Medical College in 2014. Dr. Tahir completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York in 2019 and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine in 2022. He is currently accepting new patients and is committed to offering personalized and compassionate gastroenterological care.

At Community MD Anderson Cancer Center - Anderson Medical Oncology, we have a team of board-certified medical oncologists/hematologists, as well as many OCN-certified nurses. Our oncology nurses have vast experience delivering medical oncology treatments (chemotherapy) in our infusion area, as well as oral chemo medications. Because our physicians are also hematologists, the infusion treatment rooms are also used to treat non-cancerous blood disorders like blood clots. Our cancer team includes medical oncologists, a radiation oncologist, specialty nurses and others who are experts in delivering chemotherapy, infusion, and radiation therapy services. Together, they are all part of your cancer care team.
