Wooden Roof Structures, Inc, was founded and incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1990 by James F. & Peggy L. Donnellan. WRS, Inc specializes in the repair, reinforcing and fabrication of bowstring roof trusses. in addition, we are experienced in all types of commercial wooden roof construction. Our experience dates back much farther than our incorporation date would indicate. Wooden Roof Structures' roots stem from one of the largest and most recognized names in the truss industry, American Roof Truss Company. Founded in 1922 American Roof Truss Company established itself as one if the premier roof truss companies in the country. From their facility in Chicago they fabricated and shipped thousands of trusses throughout the United States. For a time they even maintained an office in Los Angeles, Ca. Invaluable technical knowledge and fabrication methods have been passed to our employees from the most experienced and skilled craftsmen in the truss industry. Understanding the original fabrication and installation methods is critical when determining the best and most cost effective method of repairing or reinforcing a bowstring truss. We take pride in the "hands on" approach to management that we have used since our inception. The results of that style are obvious ; quality workmanship and satisfied customers.
