In 1987, Anthony S. Burkhart purchased the Field Insurance agency from Mr. Gene Field. In January 1988 the agency became Burkhart Insurance Agency. Founded in 1958, the agency was located at 19 South 3rd Street in Vincennes, from 1969 until 1993. In the fall of 1993, the agency expanded and relocated at 1600 Willow Street, Vincennes. And most recently moved to historic downtown Vincennes to 16 North 1st Street Our once small office is now a highly automated, professional insurance center that helps us stay abreast of the continual changes in our industry.
