Brownsburg Utility Department

Established in 1916, the Brownsburg Police Department is a law enforcement agency that protects the lives and property of the citizens and visitors, preserves peace, prevents crime and disorder and guards personal liberties. It is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. The Brownsburg Police Department issues auto releases, accident reports, alarm permits, and firearm permits and releases. In addition, the department offers services for issuing of bar cards, house checks, criminal and driver's history checks, and home and business security surveys. Located in Brownsburg, Ind., the Brownsburg Police Department organizes a variety of community, youth and neighborhood watch programs.
