Bowen Health

The Bowen Center is a private, nonprofit community mental health center. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Founded in 1961, it offers mental health services for the citizens of Huntington, Kosciusko, Marshall, Wabash and Whitley counties in Indiana. The Bowen Center works with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and secretaries. The center provides a variety of programs related to parenting skills development, anger management and abuse recovery. It also offers a range of early intervention, community support, residential and outpatient services. The Bowen Center maintains a location in Albion, Ind.

Bowen Center began its professional operation in March, 1961 as the Four County Mental Health Clinic offering outpatient psychiatric care to residents. The company is a private not-for-profit, comprehensive community mental health center that has the license from the State of Indiana Division of Mental Health. Located in Columbia City, Ind., the center has received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Some of the services that it provides include residential, outpatient, employee and student assistance programs, intensive outpatient and many more.
