Bluffton High School is a part of the Bluffton Harrison Metropolitan School district founded in 1882 and includes an elementary school, a middle school and a high school. The school offers a variety of programs and activities including academic bowl, music concerts, Business Professionals of America club, chess club, Bluffton-Harrison Enrichment program, Health Occupations Students of America, National Honor Society, student council, and a variety of special education programs. The school also offers a range of athletic programs that include boys and girls basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross country, football, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, wrestling and volleyball. It has a well-stocked library and a state-of-the-art computer laboratory. The school district comprises of Harrison Township that includes the city of Bluffton, Poneto and Vera Cruz, Ind.
