Bluespring Caverns Park in Bedford, IN offers an unforgettable underground adventure for visitors of all ages. Explore the majestic underground passages and water-courses on a one-hour Myst'ry River boat tour, where you can catch glimpses of rare cave creatures and illuminated natural wonders. The park also features gemstone mining, hiking trails, picnic areas, and a nature trail that loops around Indiana's largest sinkhole.
With a constant temperature of 53 degrees year-round, a light jacket and closed-toe shoes are recommended for the tour. While reservations are not available, tours leave hourly or more often, and group tours can be arranged for larger parties. This was such a cool experience for a roadside stop. The staff was friendly and our guide was fun! The cave tour takes right at an hour. Definitely worth the stop!
