This is the only private club in Bloomington and over 500 families are members there. I have played golf there several times too. After high school I was briefly the lifeguard in the "old pool"....

Bloomington Country Club is a privately-owned golf club in Bloomington, Ind. The club is an 18-hole, 6,486 yard course surrounded by foothills and vegetation with a driving range. In addition, it also offers fine dining, tennis, swimming and various monthly social events for its members. The facilities include year round play, five tee locations, computerized tee time system, driving range, locker rooms and locker rentals, club and cart storage, reasonable cart fees and golf lessons. The club has a heated swimming pool with a diving area and children's wading pool and facilities including locker rooms, showers and snack bar.

We had a luncheon there Dec. 23 and couldn't have been more pleased with the venue, the food, the service and the help of Ellyn Sallee in planning the event.
