She later obtained her ASN from Ivy Tech Community college in Indianapolis and completed her BSN at Western Governor's University. She is also a graduate of the University of Indianapolis where she obtained her MSN. She worked as a NICU RN until 2016, most recently in the NICU at Riley Children's Hospital and began her NNP career in the NICU at St. Vincent Women's.
