Blackford High School

Hartford City Middle School has a parent-teacher organization that supports school events and organizes monthly meetings. The school publishes a newsletter that offers information about upcoming events. It offers food menus, including chicken tenders, whipped potatoes, fruit snacks, corn dog nuggets and chilled peaches. Hartford City Middle School provides classes for science, language arts, social studies, physical education, family and consumer science and mathematics. The school offers special education programs for speech, hearing, music, band and life skills. It provides various learning opportunities to students in grades six through eight. The school is operated by Blackford County Schools, which consists of more than five buildings for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
