The Big 4 Railroad Bridge was converted into a pedestrian/bicycle path in 2013. The bridge was originally built in 1895 to provide rail access for freight and passengers between Jeffersonville and Louisville, it was closed in 1969. The area around the Big4 Bridge was transformed into one of Jeffersonville Premier parks that would be a destination for many events and people from all over the community. The distance from the entrance in Jeffersonville to the exit in Louisville is approximately 1 mile.
