The Beech Grove Public Library has been a cornerstone of the city since its inception in 1951, originally operating from a storefront before moving to its current location which dates back to 1953. Recently renovated in 2019, the library merged with The Indianapolis Public Library to become the 23rd branch in the IndyPL system, enhancing its services and programs for the community.
