Janice DeSanto graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1987. She completed her residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and her fellowship in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis in 1993. She is board-certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. She practiced Neonatal Medicine in Ohio after completion of her fellowship. In 2006, she returned back home to Indiana to be closer to her family and joined St. Vincent Women's Hospital.She is a Diplomate member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Janice has been recognized as a St. Vincent Caring Angel and was awarded for True Hero Award for Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in 2014. Janice is on the committees for Long Term Care and NICU Safety. She enjoys traveling, reading, photography and architecture.
