The company s health and specialty products division practices a broad basket of complex technologies, which includes manufacturing biomaterials, pyridine derivatives, sulfones, alkenyl succinic anhydrides, reducing agents, and a host of other fine chemicals customized to meet the customer needs. Its performance materials division specializes in natural and renewable chemistries that are based on castor, citrate and shea butter. The division manufactures products, systems and additives that enhance the physical properties of customer end-use formulations. Additionally, Vertellus Specialties manufactures pyridine and picolines, specialty pyridine derivatives, castor oil derivatives and systems, citrate polymer additives and systems and vitamin B-3. Its products include 4-Dimethylaminopyridine, CITROFLEX citric acid esters, cyanopyridines, EASY-FLO DMAP and VITRIDE reducing agents.
