Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart

Woodlands Academy of Sacred Heart is a school for girls that is approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. It is also approved by the state of Illinois and the Network of Sacred Heart Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. The school offers its students various courses, such as British literature, ceramics, painting and drawing, photography, French, Latin, Spanish, psychology, sociology, comparative government, political theories, Christian ethics, peace and justice, physics, anatomy and driver s education. Advanced-placement courses are offered in French, Spanish, English, calculus and U.S. history. Woodlands Academy of Sacred Heart is located in Lake Forest, Ill.
