History

Windy City Chamber Musicians is a membership of the Chicago area's finest musicians committed to providing you with quality music for your special event. The Artistic Director is Claire Langenberg, a graduate of the University of Illinois and the New England Conservatory. Mrs. Langenberg has more than 10 years of experience providing music at weddings and special events, in addition to her many performances throughout the Midwest and East Coast. She carefully chooses all of the performers, ensuring musicians that are experienced and of the highest caliber. Music has the unique ability to enhance the mood or atmosphere of any occasion. It stirs our feelings of celebration, solemnity, reverence and joy. We believe that as musicians, we have the unique privilege and responsibility to share this gift of music with others. We will work closely with you to choose the music that best compliments your event, so that your special day will be remembered for years to come.

Our broad range of repertoire and musical styles guarantee a personalized presentation at your event. We can perform classical, Broadway, and jazz, as well as special arrangements of your favorite pieces. String Quartets, Trios, Duets, and More We specialize in string ensembles, including string quartets, string trios, string duos, piano trios, and piano quartets. For smaller weddings, solo violin and cello are available. For mixed musical groups we also specialize in string ensembles with flute, trumpet, and harp. We Service the Entire Chicago Area Our musicians are available throughout the entire Chicago area. Bookings can be made from two years to two days before an event.
