The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Whalon Lake provides parking areas, latrines, water fountains, two shelters, and access to an off-leash dog park, 2.36 miles of the paved DuPage River Trail, and the 80-acre Whalon Lake for fishing, boating, and canoeing/kayaking. Open 8 a.m.-sunset.

Although the dog park is laid out nice, water is not available in the park and a city permit is required to enter. We have not encountered a permit required park before. Very clubish of Naperville.
