Westfield Community Elementary

Friendship Junior High School, located in Des Plaines, Ill., is a part of Community Consolidated School District 59. It enrolls more than 700 students, and offers classes from grade six through eight. It provides an educational environment where students can discover and use their full potential, while studying at their own rate. The curriculum includes all the basic subjects, including English, math, computers, social science, health education, fine and applied arts, Spanish and science. A school psychologist is available whose work involves in preventing and addressing social, behavioral, academic and other learning problems. Friendship Junior High School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, such as baseball, basketball and football.

Lane Tech, located in Chicago, is a Catholic institution that offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. It provides a variety of subjects, including English, fine arts, mathematics, science, theology, social studies, computer science and physical education. It organizes various sports activities for students, including football, baseball, basketball, cross-country, tennis, soccer, golf, volleyball, and track and field. The school also offers various services, including student transcripts, lockers, school insurance, locker shower rooms, transportation and parking, and cafeteria. It has a library that has a large collection of fiction, nonfiction, encyclopedias, reference notes and magazines. It also has a parent-teacher organization that involves parents in various educational activities of the school.
