Dr. Hasan earned his medical degree from Damascus University-Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria, where he graduated among the top 1% of his class in 1990. After finishing his residency training in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, he completed his fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. Dr. Hasan is dual board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. He’s affiliated with Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago and Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Hammond in Hammond, Indiana.
