Warrenville Police Department

The Warrenville Police Department works to prevent crime, preserve peace, and protect the rights, lives and property of the city residents. Its animal control division undertakes issues related to animal bites, barking dogs and missing animals. The department operates a K-9 unit that conducts follow-up investigations in cases of crimes against persons and property, identity theft, juvenile offenses and financial crime. The Warrenville Police Department hosts a citizens police academy that introduces members to various aspects and responsibilities of law enforcement including crime scene investigation, driving under influence, domestic violence, police weaponry and communication. The Warrenville Police Department supports National Night Out, Explorer, and neighborhood and vacation watch programs. It is comprised of more than 40 full- and part-time sworn officers and civilian employees. The department is located in Warrenville, Ill.
