Vital Origins Integrative Health

History

Dr. Simms graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University. She then continued her education at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. As a student at SCNM, she interned at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)- National Institute for Digestive, Diabetes and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), and completed specialty rotations in endocrinology and diabetes, dermatology, obstetrics and integrative medicine. Personal: Dr. Simms was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She lives with her husband and two young children in Chicago's northern suburb of Wilmette. She loves cooking, barre, and spending time with friends. She loves to travel and her favorite foreign country to visit (so far) is Vietnam.
