Vet Center

Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers that offer a variety of social and psychological services to eligible Veterans, servicemembers, and their families, including those from the National Guard and Reserve components. These centers provide professional counseling to facilitate successful transitions from military to civilian life and address the impacts of traumatic events, including military sexual trauma.

In addition to individual, group, marriage, and family counseling, Vet Centers connect clients with other VA or community benefits and services. The staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are well-equipped to discuss the challenges faced by those who have served in the military.
