History

Valko Brazilian Jiu-jitsu was started in 2007 when owner and head instructor Jay Valko set out to create the academy he always wished he could have attended as a student. To accomplish this goal, he gathered some of the best instructors in the Chicagoland area, ranging from BJJ black belts to Division 1 All-American wrestlers to Golden Gloves boxing champions, and combined them all into a comprehensive program that features multiple classes seven days a week, flexible tuition options, a clean and safe facility, and a friendly and professional atmosphere.
